Notifications

Luzbase tells you when something on your projects needs your attention: an invitation, a change to your access, a reply in a discussion or a pull request. Notifications appear in the app, and some also arrive by email.

  • The bell in the header shows your latest notifications and an unread count. Use Mark all read, or View all notifications to open the full page.
  • The Notifications page (from the bell, or Notifications in your avatar menu) has two parts:
    • Pending invitations, with Accept and Decline for each one.
    • Activity, your notifications, filtered by All or Unread. Mark one read or delete it from its row, use Mark all read, and Load more to see older ones.

New notifications arrive live; you do not need to reload.

Area Examples
Invitations “{name} invited you to {project}”; “{name} accepted your invitation to {project}”; a declined invitation
Your membership “Your role in {project} changed to Editor”; “You were removed from {project}”; “{name} left {project}”; “You are now the owner of {project}”
Discussions A new discussion, a reply, a mention (“{name} mentioned you in …”), a discussion resolved or reopened. See Discussions.
Pull requests A pull request opened (to owners and editors), and, for the author, when theirs is approved, commented on, merged or closed. See Pull requests.
Templates Your template was approved, needs changes, or was removed from Explore. See Publish a template.
Account Security alerts, such as a new sign-in or a password change, and product updates from Luzbase

You are not notified when someone saves a version, creates or deletes a branch, or comments on a version.

Some notifications also come by email:

  • Project invitations are always emailed to the person invited.
  • Project activity: when someone accepts your invitation, changes your role, removes you from a project or deletes a project you are in. Discussion activity (new discussions, replies, mentions and status changes) is emailed under this setting too.
  • Template reviews and security alerts.

Pull request notifications are in-app only; there are no pull request emails.

  1. Open your avatar menu and choose Settings.
  2. Under Email notifications, turn Project activity on or off. It is on by default.
  3. Under In-app notifications, turn In-app notifications off to hide the bell in the header.

There are no per-type settings beyond these, and Luzbase does not send push, SMS or chat-app notifications. See Preferences.
